  • Caley Featherstone

As a certified eating disorder specialist, I live and breathe eating disorder recovery and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). With a been there, done that mentality, I strive to practice radical genuineness in my life and work.

I do this work because I believe in it, and I believe recovery is real; humans deserve to feel at peace. I feel drawn to a focus in marginalized communities and aim to remove barriers to care in rural areas, lower socioeconomic classes and other vulnerable groups. I know suffering does not exist within constructs, and believe everyone is capable of recovery.

Because I know personal experience is not enough, I have sought training and mentorship from experts in diverse disciplines and in all levels of eating disorder and crisis intervention care. I hold a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling and have completed the highest level of training in DBT. I continue to train and consult as a member of a DBT team

  • Nicole Jund

My clinical path has given me the honor of working with individuals of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages. I have specific experience and training supporting children, adolescents, and young adults by implementing naturalistic behavior therapy and DBT in different treatment settings.

I am passionate about working with young adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and disordered eating by drawing on evidence-based modalities such as DBT and EFT with a trauma-informed lens. My work is rooted in warmth and genuine care for clients by fostering empathetic, trusting relationships with each client, allowing them to feel supported and cared for on their journey toward healing. My counseling style is centered around intentional attunement and empathy. I enjoy implementing a psychodynamic, person-centered approach in counseling while drawing on evidence-based strategies, including somatic awareness, that are tailored to each client's individual needs and goals. I aim to create a safe space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported as they gain a deeper understanding of their trauma in relation to their current life, as well as tangible tools to help them achieve their short-term goals and regulate their nervous system for optimal functioning. I believe healing happens through connection and compassion, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey.

I'm currently a Master’s Student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Concordia University Irvine, working toward Idaho licensure. I also love reading, spending quality time with family, and getting coffee with friends.

  • Khrystin Ballenger

Throughout my career, I have worked in several different settings including nursing homes, schools, home based therapy, crisis centers and outpatient clinics. I have worked with clients over the lifespan from ages 3-94. This has allowed me to develop a strong understanding of the impact of mental health over the life span and develop a strong understanding of how healing and progress can look different for each person. I am excited to work with clients on personal growth, managing stress, and developing coping skills and deeper self understanding.

My focus in my work is helping clients develop meaning and understanding into who they are and how their experiences have shaped them. I support individuals in exploring true self, development of coping skills, exploring triggers, and navigating challenges in their life. I am experienced in working with individuals and couples through life transitions, relational challenges. stress management, past trauma experiences and self actualization. Drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered practices, and narrative therapy-I use an eclectic, personalized approach to meet each client where they are at and work toward their goals.

Sessions are collaborative and will vary based on client needs, but typically follow a loose structure allowing time for reflection, skill building and evaluating needs and areas for potential growth. Whether attending therapy to work on specific areas or wanting a safe space to explore growth and self, I strive to provide an inclusive, supportive environment where clients feel comfortable and free to be who they are while they grow into who they want to be,

I believe as humans we all have a drive to be our best selves and have human connection where we can be free to express ourselves and grow as individuals. Due to this core belief, I strongly rely on the development of a positive therapeutic alliance in therapy. I feel that true growth happens when we are able to be our authentic self and vulnerable with others. I work hard to provide a place where clients can explore who they are, who they want to me and where they want to go in life. I hold space for exploration, deeper understanding of self and learning to cope with and not be defined by one's past to allow for growth, development and a real sense of change. Therapy is work and I greatly value the trust built with a therapist to do that work and pride myself on provide a safe, trusting environment for this to occur.
